The four places couples look, and who funds them
Hotel preferred-vendor PDFs are funded by access to the property. Instagram is funded by whoever posts most. Wedding-market booths are funded by exhibitors. Paid directories are funded by planners buying placement. None of those incentives match yours. Independent matching is funded by the couple. Research stays offline. Live planner identities are not loaded onto this website, on purpose. You see explained fit when we have actually looked.
- Preferred lists protect the hotel's included vendors
- Feeds reward volume, not parish evidence
- You should know who pays the finder
A search sequence that does not leak a year
Finish the one-page brief. Read the destination page for the island you actually chose. Then start a wedding profile. After that, we independently source. You receive a recommendation based on our assessment, not a grid of logos. If you already have two proposals, send them after the profile so comparison uses the same job. Appointing stays yours. Contracts stay between you and the planner.
- Brief before outreach
- Island page before a Caribbean-wide DM blast
- Assessment before introductions
What a serious candidate can show without a public ranking
Recent work in the same corridor: Negril cliffs, Bavaro resorts, Barbados west-coast lawns. A named marriage officer if the ceremony is civil. A rain-decision deadline. A written split with the hotel desk. A planner who ‘does the whole Caribbean’ from one island should have to prove the last three jobs on your coast. We will not publish a star table. We will ask those questions in research.
- Corridor evidence beats a multi-island slogan
- Officer names belong in civil briefs
- Rain language belongs in the contract, not the caption
What you pay us for, and what you never pay planners through us
Private-client fees are on the pricing page. Planner proposals are separate. We do not accept placement money. That is the whole commercial design. If a site cannot say that in one paragraph, it is not an independent finder. Use this page when your search term was the category; use the how-to-choose guide when you already have names and need interview questions. Retain the assessment memo; discard the logo wall.
- Matching fee is labelled and optional after the profile
- Planner fee is their contract
- No public leaderboard of people we might later recommend
Introductions wait until you consent
We do not spray your brief to a marketplace. Research happens first. Introductions happen when your service includes them and you say yes. That is slower than a directory form that CCs twelve planners overnight. It is the point of paying an independent finder rather than a lead-gen widget.
- Consent is a step, not a footer
- Offline research is not a stall tactic
- You can stop after the profile with nothing sold
Common questions
Questions couples ask
Where can I find a Caribbean wedding planner?
Start a wedding profile here if you want independent research. Hotel lists and directories will also answer the query. Ask who funds the list before you treat it as a shortlist.
Why don’t you show planner names on this page?
Public catalogues recreate the directory incentive. Research is offline. You see identities when a recommendation is actually being made.
Is this only for Jamaica and Punta Cana?
No. Matching covers the islands listed on the destinations hub, including Barbados, Saint Lucia, the Bahamas, Antigua, Turks and Caicos, Cayman and Grenada. Coverage is confirmed against your brief, not assumed from a homepage.
Can we use you if we already booked the resort?
Yes. Say what is already contracted so research works the gaps instead of redesigning a gazebo the hotel will not move.
Will planners contact us directly after we start a profile?
Not from this site as a public lead. Introductions are a later, consented step on paid services that include them.
