Terms
These terms govern your use of Caribbean Wedding Search and our private client services. By submitting an enquiry or placing an order, you agree to these terms. They are designed to be clear about what we do — independently source planners and present a recommendation based on our assessment — and what we do not do.

Caribbean Wedding Search is operated by Ianson Systems Limited, trading as Caribbean Wedding Search (caribbeanweddingsearch.com). We independently source Caribbean destination wedding planners and present a recommendation based on our assessment of the wedding you describe to us.
We are not a wedding planner, event producer, travel agent, venue, booking agent, or legal adviser. We do not act as agent for you or for any planner. We do not appoint a planner on your behalf.
Our fee is paid by you. We do not accept listing fees, referral commissions, placement payments, advertising fees, or other remuneration from planners in connection with recommending them to you.
We do not operate a paid directory, marketplace, or advertising platform in which planners buy visibility or ranking. If we became aware of a conflict of that kind in relation to a particular planner, we would not present that planner as an independent recommendation.
Any shortlist, report, comment, or recommendation we provide is our professional opinion, formed from research and our judgment at the time we prepare it. Information may be incomplete, out of date, planner-reported, drawn from public sources, or otherwise limited.
We do not warrant that a recommendation is the only suitable option, that a planner will be available, or that a planner, venue, or supplier will perform. You remain free to proceed, pause, or look elsewhere.
Public pages that describe our approach, including /how-we-assess-planners, are illustrative of how we usually work. They do not create additional contractual duties, a certification standard, or a requirement that we follow any particular research method. We may adapt, shorten, or omit steps according to the brief, the destination, and our professional judgment.
We are not obliged to carry out any particular verification activity. Without limiting that point, we are not required to run background or criminal-record checks; inspect or confirm licences, insurance, financial standing, or legal right to trade; visit venues or offices; independently verify every claim a planner or third party makes; or supervise a planner after you appoint them.
Any engagement, contract, deposit, instruction, or payment you make to a planner, venue, or supplier is solely between you and that third party. We are not a party to those arrangements and we do not underwrite their work.
If a planner relationship, venue booking, or supplier arrangement later fails or disappoints, that dispute is between you and them. Independently sourcing a planner and presenting a recommendation does not make us responsible for their performance, insolvency, negligence, or breach.
You can pay securely on the website for published private client services after completing your wedding profile. Card payments are processed by Stripe. The Stripe checkout page is branded with the Caribbean Wedding Search logo and caribbeanweddingsearch.com; the trader remains Ianson Systems Limited. You may also request a private search review first if you want us to confirm coverage before payment. We may decline work that falls outside our capacity, coverage or service scope.
We do not introduce you to a planner or share your contact details without your explicit approval. You control what information we may share for an introduction.
Planner reports, comparisons and written recommendations we produce for you are licensed for your personal wedding-planning use. You may not resell, publish or commercially redistribute them without our written consent.
If you need to cancel after payment, contact us promptly at support@caribbeanweddingsearch.com. Refund eligibility depends on the work already performed and the service purchased. If work has not started, we will usually offer a full refund or transfer to a later start date.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, performance, insolvency, negligence or breach of any planner, venue, supplier or other third party, or for the outcome of your wedding. Our service is independent sourcing and a recommendation based on our assessment at the time.
Subject to the first paragraph of this section, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the relevant service. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or consequences of decisions you make with third-party planners or suppliers.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence where applicable.
